Skilled Independent Visa (subclass 189)
Skilled Independent (Subclass 189) is a point visa designed to select a group of individuals with a certain set of overseas skilled people in various Australian states.
To apply for this visa, the applicant needs an invitation from the Australian Government. You can apply for this visa at 65 points, but due to higher competition it may be higher. The higher your points, the better your chances of being invited.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be nominated by a state in Australia.
- For your application to be valid, you must indicate at the time of the invitation that you have an appropriate skills assessment.
- Skill assessment in MLTSOL
- You must be aged under 45 when you apply for the visa.
- This is a points-tested visa. Must have 65 points including state points.
- Competent English (6 each in IELTS)
- Must meet health Requirements.
- Must meet character requirement.
- Have paid back your debt to the Australian government
